Here are some of the key earnings updates to look forward to this week:
Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA)
After the market close, Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) will report its Q4 and full-year earnings results on January 25, 2023. At that time, Tesla will issue a brief advisory containing a link to the Q4 and full-year 2022 update, which will be available on Tesla’s Investor Relations website. Tesla management will hold a live question-and-answer webcast that day at 4:30 p.m. Central Time (5:30 p.m. Eastern Time).
In Q4, Tesla produced over 439,000 vehicles and delivered over 405,000 vehicles. In 2022, vehicle deliveries grew 40% Y/Y to 1.31 million, while production grew 47% Y/Y to 1.37 million. The company continued to transition towards a more even regional mix of vehicle builds which again led to a further increase in cars in transit at the end of the quarter.
FactSet analyst estimates provide a full-year EPS consensus of $3.98 and a sales consensus of $82.12bn.
Over the past year, TSLA stock has traded between $101.81 and $384.29. Today it trades at around $133. So far this year, the Tesla stock price is up 8.3%, while the S&P 500 has risen 3.8% over the same period.
