Nordstrom, Inc. (NYSE: JWN) stock is trending today as its share price rose over 31% in early pre-market trading. The luxury department store chain reported Q4 earnings in line with the company outlook, beating analyst estimates on sales but missing on EPS.
Q4 benefited from holiday shopping and promotional deals.
The JWN share price is up 33% to $26.13 in early trading.

Childress will appear on TV to discuss AMMO’s Recent Donation Offer to Ukrainian Armed Forces. The company is offering to donate one million rounds of ammunition to the Armed Forced of Ukraine to support their fight for independence and freedom.
POWW stock is down 12.6% year-to-date but has risen 13.5% in the past five days.
Borr Drilling (NYSE: BORR)
Borr Drilling (NYSE: BORR) stock is up 24% after announcing the retirement of Ms. Georgina Sousa as a Director and Company Secretary. Borr Drilling welcomes Ms. Mi Hong Yoon to succeed Ms. Sousa as Company Secretary.
BORR stock is up 17% year-to-date. The rising oil price will also be helping it as it’s endured an extremely volatile year. The company has considerable debt, and the prospect of another share raise keeps investors cautious.
Borr Drilling Ltd. engages in providing offshore drilling services to the oil and gas industry.
Analyst Gustaf Amie at Fearnley Securities upgraded their share price target on BORR stock to $3.19 with a Buy rating.

Russian oil explorer NK Lukoil PAO (OTCMKTS: LUKOY) is again trending today as its share price continues to fluctuate. LUKOY stock had lost over 80% of its share price value in the past five days but it is rising again.

Lukoil has 20 years of proven reserves, but the war in Ukraine makes investing in Russian stocks inherently risky.
Swiss index provider STOXX has already said it will ban Russian companies from its indices, including Lukoil. The Moscow stock exchange remains closed.
Dollar Tree, Inc. (NASDAQ: DLTR)
Dollar Tree, Inc. (NASDAQ: DLTR) reported Q4 earnings on Wednesday with mixed results. EPS of $2.01 beat FactSet analyst consensus estimates of $1.78. But sales of $7.08bn were less than consensus estimates of $7.12bn.
Gross margins slipped to 30.2% (down from 31.8% in Q4 2020). The company said higher freight costs and recall-related markdowns hit margins. Dollar Tree is also facing industry-wide challenges from inflation and higher wages.
Dollar Tree guidance for 2022 sees EPS between $7.60 and $8.
The DLTR share price is down nearly 5% in pre-market trading.
