The company recently secured a financing agreement valued at $33 million from key investors aimed at advancing its patented recycling technology. Investors include Pleiad Investment Advisors Limited, Sylebra Capital, and Samlyn Capital, LLC. Sylebra Capital acquired 619,925 shares, thereby increasing its total PCT holdings to over 34 million shares.
The funds raised will assist PureCycle in furthering its dissolution recycling process, which is critical for sustainable solutions in the plastics industry. The CEO of PureCycle emphasized the progress made during trials and the pursuit of commercial success.
Meanwhile, the company has collaborated with Churchill Container to launch a line of souvenir cups made from recycled materials, contributing to its commitment to enhanced recycling practices and sustainability.
